I am newly married to this guy. I'm a very lucky girl.
His name is Andy, and besides being handsome...he is the sweetest, funniest, most humble person I've ever met. He is pretty awesome. I have not always been exactly lucky in love so finding him has literally been a dream come true. I am very excited about our future together.
He's a firefighter, so most of my school work and blogging takes place during his 24 hour shifts away from home when I'm missing him.
Luckily, I have this little man to keep me company when he's at work.
This is Sawyer. He's a stinker. A really cute stinker but a stinker nonetheless.
He is pretty much the center of our little world and we like it that way. (and so does Sawyer).
I teach at an awesome public school with some pretty fantastic people. I've wanted to be a teacher for as long as I can remember and I like to make learning FUN for my sweet kiddos (and for me!). I discovered some awesome teaching blogs a few years ago that have influenced my teaching so much...it's amazing! They are the reason that I decided to start this blog. I think the collaboration happening online is just unbelievable. It never ceases to amaze me how generous people in the teaching profession can be.
I hope that my blog can be a tiny part of that awesome collaboration and sharing.
